I wanted to incorporate the idea of collections into a quilt as a quilt holds a lot of memories and is usually something that is cherished and passed down as a collection may be. I started to collate images of collections of my own and bits of texts of what people think of collections. I decided that the imagery isn't as strong as the words. The thing that intrigues me about collections is how they are housed and by using imagery it gives that mystery away.
